‘Complicated by design, simplistic by nature.
you are a work of art i have yet to paint..yet to finish.
time has coincided with fate and decided to bring us closer…than ever before
closer than beethoven and the vibrations he once felt thru the pannels of his wooden floor.
i feel you. too much sometimes.
my mind is a highway of heartbreak and pain riddled with streetlights made of my triumphs.
however..there is a corner in the map of my mind where i have not yet traveled
a place where stories and fables have once spoke of happiness and nostalgia
a place we’ve passed by many times…fogging up the windows of my soul..
excessively speeding thru the road bumps of my heart.
this is a place only you and i can go…
a place only you and i know.
a destination we have yet to reach.
may the journey be kind, however if we must face obstacles…
may we face them together.
be patient with me my love.
for i am taking us to a place weve never been…thru a dangerous road of pain and misery
the light at the end of the tunnel may seem too distant at times…
are we there yet?
believe me…when we are..youll know.
i may grow tired and become weary of my insecurities..for the gas tank may not always be full…
but thats what they make pit stops for.
i only hope you will survive this journey we call love.
for the wait will be worth your while.
and if you must lose faith in us..never lose faith in love.
for it is a place we have never been but a place we may go again
i am not perfect…however
i paint you in perfect tones and hues in colors schemes not yet imagined
to the human eye
we are one..one masterpiece i have yet to finish.
a masterpiece i must paint while driving.
i only hope i can keep my eyes on the road enough to enjoy the ride.
but if the ride is bumpy my love..know that..its because im painting
my masterpiece.
